These courses have no fixed combined course duration. Certification is presented based on experience, reputation (work contributed to the community) and as part of a recognition for excellence.

CIA Climbing Assistant Instructor
Course Code: PC-CAI
A Climbing Assistant Instructor will be the “co-pilot” to the full qualified instructor. As an assistant, the participant will follow the directions of the Climbing Instructor and is also responsible to take charge during the absence of a fully qualified instructor.

CIA Climbing Instructor
Course Code: PC-CI
A Climbing Instructor is responsible in overseeing the sport climbing trainings that are conducted in the CIA Recreational Climbing Certifications ( TRWC, LWC, TRRC, LRC, MC). A Climbing Instructor has the authority to certify participants in the above listed climbing courses.

CIA Master Instructor
Course Code: PC-MI
This course is similar to the CIA Abseiling Course (AC) but with a big difference. This course is conducted on a waterfall. Participants will basically learn to abseil on a raging waterfall and also learn to secure themselves in a wet and deepwater environment. This course also will teach waterproofing to secure belongings and gear. Potential applicants have to complete the CIA Abseiling Course (AC) before being able to take this course.

CIA Course Director
Course Code: PC-CD
This is the highest level that could be attained in the CIA Climbing Hierachy. A course director is a respected leader in this field and possess mastery over the whole industry of climbing. The course director has the authority to design courses and its syllabus and also has the authority to approve certifications for all levels and courses.
